I know distressed clothing is the "thing" right now and has been for a while and I, myself, am guilty of wearing destroyed denim.
But REALLY? I found this on the Facebook page of a local boutique called Steamroller Blues. I don't even care to call them out on it since it's so ugly. Plus, I have to credit the photo, right? ;) I know they didn't design the shirt or anything (it's by Chaser), but I can't believe they would even stock something so gross. The worst part is this shirt is $62. SIXTY-TWO DOLLARS! I just threw out two trash bags full of old clothes that looked like this. If I had known ripped up shirts were in style I would have replaced the tag with my own and start my own distressed clothing line.
It's kind of sad that there are people who would pay $62 for some ugly, ripped up shirt while others have no choice but to wear old ripped up shirts because they can't afford anything else. What do you think? Do you think this is actually cute? I know I'm not very fashionable, but geez.
