NEW! Premade Blogger Templates

Hello hello! I know things have been kind of quiet around here for a while. I've been working on setting up my new website and blog (will be launching this week!) but wanted to drop in to make this announcement.

I recently rebranded my design business and opened my Etsy shop in its new name. Over the last couple of months I've been working on adding new premade themes to the shop. They're available for INSTANT DOWNLOAD so no more waiting around on me to send you the files!

I added a new theme last night and it is one of my favorites. It was designed to be a food blog template. I see a lot of food blogs on Blogger but their Recipe Index (if they even have one) is usually unorganized and outdated. This template includes a dynamic built-in recipe index! It automatically updates every time you post a new recipe based on a few variables (instructions on how to label your posts are included in the files). RECENT WORK: The Daily Post

I just launched a new design this morning for The Daily Post! Caitlyn used one of my premade templates I had available on another blog of hers last year. It's always nice when someone wants to return to use your services again!

This time Caitlyn opted for a custom blog design for her blog, The Daily Post. She sent me a few ideas of some specific things she wanted but I pretty much had total creative freedom. Visit her blog to check out the full design!

Recent Work: Blog Design for Ten Feet Off Beale

I'm really excited to launch this design today! Alyssa from Ten Feet Off Beale contacted me a few weeks ago to redesign her blog. I had the pleasure of meeting Alyssa last year since she only lives an hour away from me and we ran into each other at Memphis' Zoo Lights in December.

Alyssa said she wanted her design to involved Memphis and stitching elements so I tried to incorporate those with the pyramid for an A in her blog name and a few subtle stitching graphics here and there. I really like the way it turned out. To see the full design, go check out Alyssa's blog!

Recent Work: Blog Design for Cupcakes & Curves

I said on Monday that the Blog Promotion Series would continue yesterday but I'm re-writing it so.. it didn't. Instead, I'd like to share a recent blog design I finished for one of my lovely friends, Brandi of Cupcakes & Curves! Visit her blog to check out the completed design.

I've been online friends with Brandi since, I think, before I even had my first boyfriend. When she told me she was interested in having her blog designed I was thrilled! She wanted girly, feminine, and simple, but not too simple. She also provided me with some images for color inspiration. Cupcakes & Curves is a lifestyle and beauty blog so I illustrated some simple cupcake & makeup icons. You can also pin straight from an image... hover over an image to see the cute Pin It effect :) I really love how it turned out, especially the colors!

Custom Blogger Design: Wheel Fashion Blog

I had designing for Katie's blog Wheel Fashion. She wanted something that was girly vintage with pastel colors with a bicycle in the header. I drew up the bicycle in Illustrator based off an image she had on her blog of her own new bicycle. Be sure to check out Katie's blog!

I'm not too sure of how many of you find my shop through my blog (or if any of you find my blog through my shop). I've had a lot of people asking me if my BLAIR template was available in a one column layout instead of two. It wasn't then. Even though I do customizations for an extra $10 I refused to do them on this template because I planned on releasing it as a one column in the future and I didn't think it would be right to charge anyone extra for something I was planning to do anyway so I just asked them to hold out a bit.

Hey Girl, Where Have You Been?

So, um, hi. It's been a while. I'm thinking I should neglect my blog for 2 weeks more often because I gained a lot more followers in the past 2 weeks that I haven't blogged than I do when I blog semi-regularly. Maybe that's a hint. My absence has been with good reason. I launched my premade Blogger template shop a few weeks ago on my website, POXXIE and received quite a few orders that kept me busy. I also opened shop on Etsy and received a few more! Yesterday, I removed all of the templates on my website and just displayed the Etsy widget. Even though Etsy charges more fees and all that mess it's just a lot easier for me to keep up with for some reason.

In between custom blog design orders, customizing premade orders and trying to design new premade templates for the shop (among sleeping, eating, working at my 8-5 and spending quality time with my son and my boyfriend) I've been pretty darn busy.

Notice any changes around here? I forgot to take a screenshot of my previous design (oops) but here's the new one! I really, really love the way this turned out.

You may also notice that my shop is down while I get caught up on some orders. If you have purchased a premade template and have emailed me and have not yet received a response, don't fret. I have read your email and unless it required something that NEEDED a reply, well.. I haven't replied. I got swamped with orders (both premade and custom) and am trying to get caught up. I'm not sure if my website was linked somewhere or what but I received 6 custom blog design orders and 4 premade template orders in TWO days! I am definitely not complaining but it was way more than I ever expected to get. So, I want to apologize for the delay in getting back to some of you but you will hear from me soon. I greatly appreciate your patience!
