Hello! My name is Kendra. I hail from a state full of Southern Hospitality, ice-cold sweet tea, and people who say y'all way more often than necessary. I work full-time as a web designer/graphic artist for a local web development company. I have been employed here for a little over 3 years; however, I have a total of 10 years of web design experience.
In my spare time, I also create blog designs for the Wordpress and Blogger platforms. I have completed several college classes; however, I have absolutely no formal education in web development and that is actually something I am quite proud of. I have taught myself everything I know and I continue to research the latest market trends to further my knowledge. I am a quick learner and I love challenging myself to go beyond my comfort zone, even if it doesn't quite work out the way I was hoping.
When I'm not trying to help make the internet a prettier place, you can find me pushing my son on the swingset, catching fireflies, making mudpies, and racing Hot Wheel cars down the sidewalk. I also enjoy baking (and eating) massive amounts of cupcakes, working out to cancel out the effects of aforementioned cupcakes, trying to learn how to poof my hair, and watching tv that doesn't involve cartoon characters. If there is any time left over after doing all that, I blog, tweet, and stalk my friends on Facebook.
