I'm tired.

August 15, 2012

Really, really tired. Aiden has Swimmer's Ear and it's keeping him up at night. The past 3 nights have been miserable for the both of us. He hasn't slept for more than an hour at a time and we haven't had more than 3 hours of sleep each night. I stayed home from work yesterday because I was too tired to function and Aiden spent half the morning crying so I wasn't about to send him to daycare like that. He continued to spend the rest of the day crying, for the most part, so I made the right choice.

He finally took a nap around 4:30 for a couple of hours and there was some peace and quiet.

I really hope tonight is better for the both of us.

  2. Yeesh! Poor babe! I hadn't had an ear infection since I was an infant until about a month ago when I ended up with Otitis Media and took a 5 AM trip to the E.R. I'm a pretty tough cookie and it caused me some excruciating pain! I hope he gets better soon and you are both able to catch up on your rest.
