This summer I'm going to wear more dresses.

About a month and a half ago I blogged about getting my sexy back. I haven't mentioned anything about it since because, well, that hasn't happened yet. I'm not even sure if I ever stepped foot into a gym after I posted that. I'm an instant gratification kind of girl. If I don't see results after a week, I get discouraged and give up.

BUT! I haven't been working out for 2 weeks straight! As sad as it sounds, this is the longest I've ever stuck with any type of work out. It's hard to get to my apartment's fitness center because that usually involves persuading my child to sit still on the floor by the treadmill while I run. I usually do that by downloading new games on my phone and it keeps him occupied but there for a while he DID NOT want to go. I finally found my 30 Day Shred DVD and solved that problem. If Aiden's in the mood to head down to the fitness center with me then I'll go run on the treadmill a bit and do some strength training exercises. If he's not in the mood, then I'll just do the 30 Day Shred workouts. I also follow up with a few more ab workouts.

I'm not sure if I've lost any weight - I haven't weighed myself. I'm afraid to because I know if there's not a lower number on the scale then I'll get pissed off. I'm going to try to go a full month without weighing. I don't really notice a significant difference when I look in the mirror but I do look and feel less bloated. My jeans don't feel as tight around my waist so I guess that's an improvement.

My goal for this summer is to wear more dresses. I NEVER wear dresses because I feel like my legs look fat in them or they don't hang right or whatever else excuse I come up with but I love summer dresses. So, today I bought a few from Forever 21 in a size small. I'm going to work out until they look perfect on me. Here are my purchases:
